We endeavor to make your visit with us an enjoyable one.
Dr. Willis has been practicing eye care and eye surgery for over 34 years at Rappahannock Eye Care and Surgi Center of Central Virginia.
While in medical school, Dr. Willis did research on artificial intelligence. This research ultimately led him to the field of ophthalmology.
Dr. Willis is a Founding Member of the Ophthalmic Outpatient Surgery Society. He has performed over 45,000 cataract surgeries. He was a surveyor for The Association of Accreditation of Ambulatory Health Care. He was also one of the first doctors to to perform lasik phaco emulsification and intraocular lens implants in the state of Virginia. He wrote a chapter on outpatient cataract surgery for a cataract surgery textbook. He has written numerous articles as well as being a speaker at meetings on cataract surgery.
In addition to complete eye examinations, Dr. Willis performs upper blepharoplasties and other lid procedures. He also offers treatment for fine lines and wrinkles. (Botox and fillers) Please call now for a consultation.

Debby is a native of Hatteras Island. She enjoys welcoming new patients to the practice.
Working in a medical office is a new learning curve for her; from working in electronic medical records, becoming an ophthalmic assistant, assisting in surgery, and especially, working with her husband.
She is also a licensed Esthetician in North Carolina and a licensed Master Esthetician in Virginia. She is considering adding to the aesthetics side of the practice in the near future.
